Everything you want to know
This is the place where I will be making announcements, maybe posting blurbs and excerpts, etc of upcoming books and what not.
If you're looking for my fanfiction, you're in the wrong place.
I welcome any and all to friend this journal, and to comment freely on any post. I haven't decided yet what my friending policy will be.
I'm just moving in, so be patient with me, okay. I promise I'll get unpacked and functional soon.

Hi everyone....would you believe that I completely forgot I had this journal?
Yeah. Sorry about that.
This year saw two sequels published, "Rysykk's Remedy" and "In Noble Pursuit" both on Dark Roast Press.
I'm currently working on the third (and ostensibly final) Rysykk's book, though it does not have a title at the moment. I am pondering "Rysykk's Resurrection" or something similar.
The last book in the "In Service" Trilogy is also on the horizon.
If you're looking for my ebooks, you can find them here:

I received a phone call tonight from
rhiannon_rhodes to let me know that Dark Roast Press and some of our authors and books have been nominated for the "Preditors & Editors
Readers' Poll" Awards.
The catch is, it's one of those voting Polls, where the people who read vote for their favorite books and authors.
So I turn to all of you!
See, my ebook "Rysykk's Rise" was nominate for Best Science Fiction. If you read "Rysykk's Rise" and loved it, liked it, or maybe if you just like me...I could use your vote!

You can also post write in votes if you think that's necessary. You know...say...for "In Service"? or something? *hint* *hint*
Apparently someone took me seriously, because "In Service" is now listed under the Romance Novel category. Voting procedure is otherwise the same.
And I noticed someone included me under the author category as well!
There are a lot of categories and a lot of books and ebooks included. It could mean a lot of new readers if we place well, not just for me, but for all the other fabulous writers at Dark Roast Press (look for them in all of the categories).
The voting runs through January 14th. I appreciate all the love and support from all of my readers!

That's right ladies and gentlemen, after a ridiculous wait for me to convert the incredibly lengthy "In Service", I now have a release date.
On August 15th, "In Service" will be available through Dark Roast Press.

It's been a month since the release of Rysykk's Rise on Dark Roast Press, and in that time I'm told some 33 copies have been sold (give or take in the few days since I asked).
It hasn't gotten any formal reviews yet, but reader reviews have been positive (thanks you two!). If you bought the book, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. If you enjoyed it, I would ask you to consider reviewing the book, either in your own journal or on the Dark Roast site. Good reviews sell more books, you know? Also? It increases the number of hits the book title gets on the search engines.
Oh, and I'm now on Facebook too:
And in other book news, I have sent In Service in to the editor....we'll see how much more work needs to be done before it's ready.
And in still other book news, I've started working on the sequel to Rysykk's Rise. With any luck it won't take me as long as the first one did.
That's all the news that's fit to print here in my world!
